Senators, Reps to leave with 109 jeeps, 360 exotic cars


Senators and members of the House of Representatives will go home with the operational vehicles of the National Assembly currently in their possession as the 7th Assembly winds down on Friday.Each of the 109 senators has a Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, commonly referred to as ‘jeep’, assigned to them for “operational” purposes like carrying out committee and oversight duties.

MEET The Gang That Causes Accident Just To Rob Victims


A suspected member of a car-snatching gang, Sunday Ozor, has said the gang’s mode of operation was to cause a minor accident so that the proposed victim would stop.

The 39-year-old from Boki Local Government Area of Cross River State added that when their victim came down to inspect the extent of damage, the gang member would swoop on him and snatch the vehicle.

Wike doesn’t have the mandate to be Governor – Rivers APC insists


Chief Nyesom Wike of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who is billed to be sworn in today as Governor of Rivers State, does not have the mandate of the people to serve in that capacity, the State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has said.
